Member Spotlight on Kalah Blue!

Kalah-It is so nice to have you part of our Prevail family as your enthusiasm, dedication to help others succeed, & overall personality in the gym is pure Awesomeness!  You have accomplished so much & continue to do so on a daily basis!  Your dedication to your fitness is inspiring for others!  Nothing like running ____ miles, coming to do CrossFit, & then doing SweatFit on some of your days and you still look like a Rockstar!  Get practicing on those ring muscle-ups & you will have them in no time!  And, we all know you are capable of going to Nationals & breaking the Powerlifting Bench Press record since you accomplish anything you put your mind to!  :)

Member Spotlight on Tim Huemann!

Tim: It has been so awesome to see you grow as an Athlete & accomplish new things!  Definitely one of my favorites was your first Bar Muscle-Up! You are a wonderful example to other Athletes to always listen to your body & not put too much weight on the bar just to do it!  Love that CFP is part of your family's weekly routine!

Spotlight On Becki!

Becki:  So excited for you that you have been selected as December's Member in the Spotlight!  I have watched you get stronger, healthier, & be more confident in the gym since you started and am so proud of you!  I agree that your biggest & probably most exciting accomplishment is Box Jumps! That moment was so awesome watching you jump in a workout for the first time!  Keep working hard everytime you come in to CrossFit & SweatFit and you will be doing unassisted pull-ups & surprising yourself on a daily basis! :)

Biggest CrossFit Accomplishment?  Coming back post partum & being able to squat again :)

What is your favorite thing/s about CrossFit Prevail?  I absolutely love the family focus of Prevail!  Being at other boxes I have yet to find one that is so accommodating & family centered!

If there was a 'Kendra WOD' what would it have in it?  Running, Squats, Lunges, DUBS, Rope Climbs

Any tips for a newbie?  Don't be afraid to modify/scale movements.  Just because you can't do it at that particular moment doesn't mean that you will never be able to.  After having Maks I thought I would never be able to squat or do sit-ups again.  I am back to full range movements after having to modify/scale for a long time.  Keep working towards your goals & you will accomplish them!

Spotlight on Stacy D!

Congratulations to our July Member in the Spotlight Stacy DiLullo!  This awesome Athlete had to learn how to balance her job, life, & cheerleading coaching responsibilities, so she could still have time for her work outs!  She will tell you there are days it has not been easy & she has had to work out on her own at school or in her garage but she always finds a way to make it work!  She has mad handstand walking skills & watching her in the Open this year getting her very first Bar Muscle-Up was inspirational!  So proud of you Stacy & the amazing Athlete & person you are! :-)
